On 30th March 2014, YOU Magazine (Mail on Sunday) UK featured an interview with The Prince of Wales in which he discussed the creation of the extensive gardens at his home, Highgrove in Gloucestershire. The piece features Jonathan’s incredibly detailed pen & ink drawing of the Prince's gardens which he was commissioned to draw in 2007. Click here to see the uncropped version of the whole drawing.

In October 2013, C Magazine; a contemporary arts and culture magazine based in California published a four page feature about Jonathan Myles-Lea. In an interview with the features editor Elizabeth Khuri Chandler he discussed his friendship with the Anglo/Irish painter Francis Bacon and his new paintings which are inspired by the light and landscapes of Southern California.

On 7th January 2011 Jonathan Myles-Lea's map of Highgrove was featured throughout the BBC 2 television documentary 'Alan Meets Prince Charles'. In it, The Prince of Wales takes Alan Titchmarsh on a tour of Highgrove - his own personal retreat and family home. Prince Charles gives a remarkably informal and candid interview about the outlet for his gardening aspirations, offering a rare insight into a royal passion.

On July 1st 2009. Country Life Magazine pub-lished an interview titled 'The Successor to Stubbs and Constable' by Jonathan Self.

On April 29th,2009, Country Life Magazine featured a work by Myles-Lea on it’s cover and as a double gatefold inside. Publishing director Jean Christie said: “This is the first cover of this kind for Country Life in its 112-year history, and the first editorial double gatefold we have produced”. The painting brings to life a master plan designed by Chelsea gold-medallist Arabella Lennox-Boyd – based on a ten acre estate around an imaginary Georgian house.
